I originally ordered a part from this company for my car. After being told that the item was on backorder(like most of their parts), I decided I would continue with the purchase. The item came in 3 weeks later or so and I had changed my mind about installing the part. I contacted the company in regards to returning the item. They emailed me back with the return address and where to send it back to and all return directions. They were followed exactly and I sent the parts back the following day. About 2 weeks later, I received the package back "REFUSED" from them. I called them, they never returned my calls. I emailed and they responded that I must have not followed directions correctly which I did. They replied stating to try sending again. I voiced my concerns of them "REFUSING" my package again and the manager blamed the mess up on USPS and the postal carrier. He went on a rant about how I should contact USPS and have this guy fired??? I questioned him about a pre-paid label since I had already paid $15.20 to send back. I got no replies. I called and left voicemails for him, no reply. Two more emails and about 10 phone calls, no replies. I began talking with the operator there and I'd ask on his whereabouts and it ranged from business meetings, out for lunch, sick, etc. Finally, about 2 weeks later, I received a call back stating he was busy, etc but would agree to send a pre-paid shipping label my way momentarily. I waited 4 hours and nothing. I took it upon myself to begin posting on the local car forums I am a part of regarding how horrible the customer service was and how I still never got the return label to warn others of potentially have to deal with this same individual and company. The manager calls me at 9:30PM with a sarcastic attitude stating he was not sending a label now becasue he saw where I had posted about all the problems I had with his business and then finally hung up on me. Either way, I wasnt going to get the return label anyway. I will continue to post about how bad his company conducts business and after reading all the negative material and rants people have posted online about AutoPartsDealer.com, I wish I would have done a little research beforehand. Its sad that a company has to conduct business in this manner. Bottom line is this, if you wanna wait a month for your parts and then get stuck with the wrong ones or decide to return and expect a refund, DO NOT order from AutoPartsDealer.com. And forget ever calling them and expecting to get a prompt call in return. I encourage you to google their business and read all the negative comments and similiar related incidents to this one...It's truly amazing...
