We are a large private boating community with floating communal docks and private docks. We have had problems with gulls and crows lighting on docks by empty boat slips. Over the last 18 months, our Dock Committee and private individuals have purchase five Bird Chase Super Sonic units which have been strategically placed in problem areas. We tend to set the units on a daylight setting as we have found that by not letting birds alight in the day, they will not roost there at night. While we do have an occasional "deaf" gull who has to be handled by other means, by and large we've had excellent results with pest birds. Raptors, which we want to keep around, are not disturbed.
