When I recently bought a domain name, I did some research and found Escrow.com.
First, I never heard of the company. Second, I never knew this type of service even existed. And third, after doing my research, I found that Escrow.com is a preferred service of companies like GoDaddy and Cars.com. So I thought "why not?"
I then had the seller agree to use Escrow.com and I'm glad I did - the seller was very slow throughout the process but I felt protected since the money was being held until I was satisfied with the transfer. After a few weeks - and a few calls to the great staff at Escrow.com, the deal finally went through and I have my new domain name. So - thanks Escrow.com! I will use your service again (and again) and would recommend it to anyone that asks.
