Received a few sets of dishware as a wedding present. We really loved the pattern and thought the dishes were awesome until they started to break. The company claims the dishes are microwave/oven/dishwasher safe. Over 10 (and counting) of our dishes have broken in the microwave (after being in the microwave for 30-60 seconds). We took pictures and e-mailed the company and they were nice enough to send us replacements...until it happened again and again.
They have a "1 time courtesy replacement policy." This would be fine if the customer service representative wouldn't have mentioned that we could have received a "bad batch" or they were banged up in shipping. To me, this says all my dishes will break. We contacted them again and they were somewhat rude. They will only be replacing 1 more dish.
I would stay away from Gibson dishes as they are not as described.
