I see so many 5 star reviews here...Not sure if these were made by friends, or what....
I had some remote computer equipment installed. Bill set it all up but never trained me. Just scribbled some notes on a piece of paper.
When i called awhile later to say that it wasn't working properly, He said he'd stop by, as he'd be in the area. He came and pushed a few buttons. He charged me $95.00 PLUS a trip fee although he said he'd be "in the area". When we called again a few weeks later basically told him we were still not sure how it all worked, he said "let's set something up" Obviously to charge me AGAIN.
I really figured after paying someone now $400 It would have some at least SOME lessons included?
I have now switched systems and my new guy has included training.,( for alot less money altogether than LA computer Buddy) as well as he showed me what a sloppy and dangerous job L.A. Computer Buddy did with all the wiring., Lots of Powerstrips ( fire hazard), lots of wires. mis-matched connectors...
My new guy gives me service anytime day or night, and i have a system that works.....BIG difference.

VERY UNFAIR REVIEW. This person (hiding behind a fake name - and with a total of only 1 review to her "credit") bought a security camera system from another vendor and hired us to configure it to work remotely over the Internet. They hired us on a consulting (labor) basis and bought no product from us. We did the job and trained them. They took notes. Everything was working fine when we left. We successfully accomplished the task requested. ->FOUR YEARS<- later they forgot their password and lost their notes resulting in them not being able to login to their security system. They expected us to come out and work again for free based on their error. We are not the manufacturer and did not sell anything or install any equipment. The seller or manufacturer should provide free support, but sorry, we do not. We provide great service without having to call a foreign country. They're complaints are directed at the wrong organization. We provide fast friendly computer and technology support to individuals and companies so they can work on their core business and not worry about keeping things running. We charge fairly for our services and, you can see by the many reviews and 5 star average rating, that we do achieve our customer service goals. Unfortunately you can't please all of the people all of the time, but we try. LAComputerBuddy over and out.
