This company has been a let down on multiple occasions. I can't complain that they are overpriced (I don't have to shop here), but I will complain about the fact that when I went to return a defective 25 dollar item (which was part of an $800 overall purchase) they refused to take it back saying that it was a Final Sale. They claimed that Final Sale was written on my receipt. When I produced my receipt (right then and there) they could not find where it said Final Sale, but I had to trust them, it was. End of discussion. I pointed out that I had spend 800 bucks the day before and over 1000 dollars three months earlier, and that this was weird, a weird way to reward a loyal customer. The owner of the store took a stance that Final Sales were final and there was nothing he could do about it. This was the owner of the store. I let him know that this would result in my not returning and then I left. Because I purchased the items with American Express, I ended up getting my money refunded anyway.
I've read on Yelp many many complaints about restocking fees and lousy customer service. I think those are subjective but would agree that they are not abiding by best practices. The blatant deception around Final Sale being printed on the receipt but not really being printed on the receipt is black and white and a good reason to avoid spending your time or money with this retailer.
