I contacted this business at 11:31 Am. On AUG 17 2010 to get the price for a vehicle that O.C. Nissan at that time did not have posted, instead their website read "contact dealer for price". When I contacted this dealer they gave me the price, I then went to their dealership and again confirmed the price verbally with multiple employees, one of which held the position of Internet Sales Manager.
After test driving the vehicle I informed the sales associate "I was ready to purchase".
At this point the sales manager, (who showed me the vehicle, and agreed to a price on the vehicle multiple times) changed the price of the vehicle raising it several thousand dollars.
Instead the sales manager tried selling me what I perceived as a significantly substandard version of the same vehicle, which had double the mileage and appeared to lack a significant amount of the features, claiming this was the vehicle he was referring to. Which may have been the case except I had provided a stock number and details about the vehicle which proved the contrary.
I would recommend promoting honesty and better attention to detail for this dealership.
